Who we are and why we´re here


Living in the Netherlands comes with charme and challenges.

And we should know: Three of us moved to the Netherlands at a very young age to pursue our academic career.
Now after multiple years living along and within the Dutch community, we wondered:
What would have helped us after moving here and not knowing anyone?

After the excitement of moving abroad comes the downfall of realizing how easy it is to stay in your personal bubble. Everyone that has been to the Netherlands knows, that establishing long-lasting deep bonds with the Dutch can be quite hard. The Dutch, you must keep in mind, already have their family. Their friends. And a busy schedule on top of that.
To ensure a lovely stay without feeling lonely, our mission is to take YOU by the hand and integrate you smoothly within the Dutch community.
With our Mingle-Maker we will place you into social circles that fit you, so that you can hunt these like-minded Dutchies down and conquer their hearts!

Lara-Elin Deininger

Hello and welcome to the best decision of your life! My name is Lara-Elin, I am a curious and lively media student. My task is to ensure your smooth integration within the Dutch community. You can more than trust me with that. I jumped in at the deep end myself and moved to the Netherlands at the age of 18 without any prior knowledge. This experience taught me a lot that I am only too happy to pass on!

I'm Julia, a happy, open-minded and media passionate creative business student. Media and traveling always had a fascination for me that's why I chose an international university of Applied Sciences. I love challenges and having responsibility, other than that I also just love watching movies, dancing, be in the nature, cooking and baking, so just enjoy life!

I am Mihaela Irobalieva, an international student from Bulgaria and decided to pursue my higher education in the Netherlands. I faced initial challenges adapting to the new environment however I found a team of amazing people to work with. Among my passions are arts, reading and community activities.
